This policy explains what personal data Pixodio collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@pixodio.com.
1. Who we are
Pixodio is a business registered in India. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
Pixodio
F265, Phase 8B, Industrial Area, Mohali, India 160071
Email: hello@pixodio.com
2. What we collect
- Contact and free audit forms. Your name, work email, company (optional), the service you are interested in, and the message you write. If you include your website address or other details in the message, we receive those too.
- Booking a call. If you book through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter (such as your name, email and any answers) and shares them with us. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that service.
- Email you send us. Anything you include when you write to hello@pixodio.com.
- Technical data. When you visit, our hosting and content delivery providers process your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and keep the site secure. At the time of writing we do not turn on website access logging, and we run no advertising trackers. We use analytics only if you accept it (see section 4).
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal data such as health or financial information.
3. How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote or audit, and arrange calls. (Legal basis: taking steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in running our business.)
- To protect the site and forms from spam and abuse. (Legitimate interest.)
- To understand how the site is used, which pages help visitors and how well our forms and booking link work, so we can improve it. This happens only if you accept analytics. (Consent.)
- To keep reasonable business records and meet legal obligations. (Legitimate interest and legal obligation.)
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site does not set its own cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, but only if you click Accept in the banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, nothing is sent to Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and actions such as sending a form or clicking our booking link. Google states that Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so the data is not used for advertising.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Declining there stops further tracking and removes the analytics cookies. We will ask again after about six months. Some third-party services listed below may use their own browser storage, for example to tell people from bots.
5. Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf, or in their own right where noted:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting and delivery of the site, the service that processes the contact form, and the service that sends us the form email.
- Cloudflare: Turnstile (an anti-spam check on our forms), email routing for our inbox, and DNS.
- Calendly: online scheduling, if you choose to book a call.
- Google Analytics: website analytics, only if you accept analytics (section 4). Google acts as our processor and its servers may be outside your country.
- Our email provider: where enquiries are delivered and stored.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights. If you click a link to another website, for example LinkedIn, that site's own policy applies.
6. International transfers
We are based in India, and form submissions are processed in AWS's Mumbai region. Some providers above (for example Cloudflare, Calendly and Google) operate globally, so your data may be processed in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, as described below.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are checked against spam and abuse, and access to our systems is restricted. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and have mistakes corrected;
- ask us to delete your data, or to restrict or stop using it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent you have given (for analytics, use Cookie settings in the footer);
- receive your data in a portable format;
- nominate someone to exercise your rights, or raise a grievance (India);
- know what we collect and ask us not to sell or share it (California). We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
To use any of these rights, email hello@pixodio.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, or in India to the Data Protection Board of India. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
10. Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
12. Contact
